This is a full-time, seasonal role ending October 2026. The starting wage for this role is $16.00 per hour. Staff accommodation is available.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for service, including washing, chopping, portioning, and storing food items.
  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain prep stations to support efficient kitchen operations.
  • Support banquet, wedding, and special event food production as needed.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, slicers, and dishwashing equipment when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory following proper food storage procedures.
  • Support daily kitchen operations, cleaning duties, and perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Other duties as required

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Previous kitchen, food service, or food preparation experience is an asset but not required.
  • Basic knife skills and an interest in learning food preparation techniques.
