Job description

The Yoga Instructor will guide students in the practice of yoga, including teaching yoga postures, leading breathing exercises, and encouraging a mindful approach to life.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of yoga, the ability to demonstrate and explain yoga practices, and the skills to create a calming, inclusive environment for students of all levels and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching yoga classes to students of all levels
  • Designing and modifying yoga sequences to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assisting students with alignment and modifications as needed
  • Leading students through relaxation and meditation techniques
  • Incorporating props and equipment into classes as needed
  • Being knowledgeable about the history and philosophy of yoga
  • Staying up-to-date on current research in the field of yoga

Physical Requirements

  • At least one-two years of experience as a yoga instructor
