Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 18 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Supplemental Program - Highland Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Highland Hospital.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must take 12 months off from any University of Rochester Medical Center affiliate as well

Required Skills/Experience: - 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele. 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates. -Must be willing to work charge. Highland will train if needed.

Preferred Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele.

Special Requests: Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed

Shift & Scheduling: - 3x12 and 4x12 available per week - 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float to other units if needed.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 12 months
