Make a Difference for a Sweet SeniorWe are currently seeking a reliable, experienced live-in caregiver to support a female client in Elmhurst who requires moderate to maximum assistance with daily activities. She is fun, enjoys good conversation, but also appreciates her quiet time. We're looking for someone who understands that balance.
This is a hands-on role best suited for someone confident in their caregiving skills and comfortable providing consistent support in a live-in environment.
At Assisting Hands Home Care, we are proud to have been recognized as Employer of Choice for the past two years and Provider of Choice for the past two years-a reflection of the strong culture, support, and respect we show our caregivers every day. We believe in doing things the right way: clear communication, steady hours, and leadership that stands behind our team. That's why so many of our caregivers choose to stay with us long term. As one caregiver recently shared, "I truly love working here. I feel appreciated, supported, and part of a team that genuinely cares about both clients and caregivers." When people find a place where they're valued, they stay-and we're proud to be that place.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assistance with personal care
  • Running errands and light shopping
  • Companionship
  • Light household support as needed

This position is ideal for someone who:
  • Has prior Live In experience (home care, CNA, HHA preferred)
  • Is dependable, punctual, and takes responsibility seriously
  • Understands the importance of routine, patience, and consistency
  • Can build rapport while maintaining professionalism

This is a live-in position with consistent hours. An ideal candidate is patient, respectful, reliable, and experienced in personal care
Ready to Join Our Team?
If you are dependable, compassionate, and ready to make a real difference in someone's life, we want to hear from you. Apply today and become part of a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. We are hiring immediately and look forward to speaking with dedicated caregivers who are committed to excellence.
Compensation: $227.50 per day
