  • Assists patients and staff as required in the daily operation of health clinic.
  • Prepares equipment for transportation to satellite clinics.
  • Maintains records of patients and services provided by clinic.
  • Inventories literature and forms and orders and updates forms as necessary.
  • Collects fees and makes change and inputs fees into account receivable log.
  • Drives vehicle to and from satellite clinics.
  • Schedules clinic appointments.
  • Maintains patient's electronic medical records/data entry.
  • Answers telephone and responds to inquiries or directs to appropriate person.
  • Provides outreach services via mobile unit and satellite clinic.
  • Assists in auditing daycare and schools to ensure they are in compliance with state regulations.
  • Participates in weekend or evening immunization clinics, health fairs, community outreach and other program functions as needed.
  • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 6 months job related experience.
  • Good computer and typing skills 35 WPM preferred. Good data entry skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact and deal effectively with the public and all levels of employees.
  • Organizational skills; ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadline and to prioritize own work.
  • Requires valid Texas Driver License.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $16.34 - $20.43 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
