Field Access Manager (FAM), Neuro/Rare Patient Access (Patient Access team)Objectives and Responsibilities
  • Optimize Patient Access: Navigate reimbursement and access challenges to ensure timely access to Takeda therapies.
  • Proactive Education and Support: Deliver tailored field-based education on reimbursement processes to key accounts (provider groups, hospitals, academic institutions, specialty pharmacies, and other stakeholders) and anticipate/address access challenges.
  • Strategic Partnership: Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations to identify and resolve reimbursement and access issues for seamless therapy initiation and continuation.
  • Enhance Team Capabilities: Educate and support internal teams with knowledge/tools for complex reimbursement and access scenarios.
  • Adaptability and Insight: Stay current on healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and regulatory requirements.
Education, Skills, and Competencies Required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of field-based experience in account management, sales, or medical affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of reimbursement landscape and practice management environment.
