AlphaGraphics San Marcos is looking for an experienced Signs & Large Format Installer to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced print, signage, and marketing company producing everything from vehicle graphics and window vinyl to wall murals, dimensional signage, and large-format installations.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean installations, pays attention to detail, and can represent the company professionally onsite with customers.
Large Format Sign and Vinyl Installer Daily Tasks:
  • Install: 
    •  Window graphics and vinyl 
    •  Vehicle decals and graphics 
    •  Floor decals 
    •  Wall graphics and murals 
    •  Banners and rigid signage 
    •  Large format printed graphics 
  •  Perform site surveys and take accurate field measurements 
  •  Prepare surfaces and ensure proper installation techniques are followed 
  •  Weed, trim, laminate, and prep graphics for installation 
  •  Load/unload materials and maintain organization of installation equipment 
  •  Work independently or with a team on installations 
  •  Communicate professionally with customers onsite 
  •  Ensure installations are completed cleanly, safely, and on schedule 
  •  Assist with production and finishing when installations are not scheduled
 
Ideal Large Format Sign and Vinyl Installer Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional sign and large format installation experience 
     Experience installing: 
    •  Window graphics 
    •  Vehicle decals/graphics 
    •  Floor decals 
    • Acrylic signs
    • Post Signs
  •  Strong understanding of vinyl application techniques and surface preparation 
  •  Experience using installation tools, ladders, and basic power tools 
  •  Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments 
  •  Clean driving record and valid driver’s license 
  •  Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship 
  •  Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience with vehicle wraps 
  •  Experience with wall murals and architectural vinyl 
  •  Experience operating large format finishing equipment 
  •  3M or Avery certification is a plus 
  •  Experience in a print shop or sign shop environment preferred
