Job description

Intensivist/Critical Care Physician Needed in Thriving Southeast Metro!

  • 36 Bed MICU
  • 14 twelve-hour shifts per month
  • Bedside ultrasound

We are looking for a physician to join our established practice. This hospital employed position offers an excellent compensation package including a highly competitive salary with a productivity incentive and excellent benefits including 401k, paid vacation, CME allowance, and teaching opportunities.

Huntsville Hospital is a 971 bed Level I Trauma Center and the Regional Referral Center for north Alabama and southern Tennessee. The Emergency Department is a progressive 75-bed ED that sees approximately 165,000 patient visits per year. The hospital has 24/7 Hospitalist, Radiology, Cardiology, Trauma, Orthopedic and Neurosurgical coverage. Huntsville Hospital also hosts the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs for UAB and 3rd and 4th year medical students from UAB. 130 total ICU beds.
