Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Virtualization: Proven experience administering and maintaining VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
  • Storage & Backup: Hands-on experience managing enterprise storage systems (specifically NetApp ONTAP) and configuring/maintaining automated backup solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Windows Server & Domain Administration: Deep expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and user/group management.
  • Security & Compliance: Direct experience implementing DISA STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and conducting vulnerability scans using ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution).
  • Monitoring & Network Management: Familiarity with Cisco networking concepts (VLANs, routing, switching, Adaptive Security Appliance) and experience utilizing SolarWinds (or similar enterprise monitoring suites) for network and system performance monitoring.
  • Identity & Access Management: Experience managing Certificate Authorities (CA servers) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for secure network authentication.
  • Linux Familiarity: Basic administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
  • Documentation & Baselines: Develop IT operating procedures, techniques, and baseline configuration guides.
  • Hardware Support: Perform operations and maintenance support on laptop PCs and systems.
  • Technology Refresh: Participate and assist in researching IT solutions in support of technology refresh as required to support IT system development and life cycle activities.
  • Vulnerability Management: Resolve IT-related Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and remediate software vulnerabilities via security patching and specialized software configurations.
  • RMF Support: Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and assist in the security assessment of the IT environment as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Top-Secret clearance required with SCI or SCI eligibility.
  • DoD 8570 Level II or III compliant certification and computing environment certifications required.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience. 
  • BS/BA

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00.  The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
