Job description

Noninvasive Cardio | Beavercreek | Resource (PRN) | Varied Shift 


The Ultrasound Tech II performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging. This role collaborates with physicians and care teams, assists in complex procedures, and upholds regulatory and accreditation standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field from an accredited program Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered ultrasound technologist Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Sonography (ARRT(S)); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained prior to independent patient care).


Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field Experience in specialized areas such as vascular, obstetric, or cardiac sonography Additional certifications such as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

candidate will work a minimum of 16 hours per month

holiday and call rotation included (call approx every 7 weeks)

prefer candidate who can work evenings and weekends
