In this role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to perform a variety of diagnostic examinations, work collaboratively with a team of experts, and provide your patients with the reassurance they need through timely imaging.
Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly articulating each step with empathy
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records effectively in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in ultrasound imaging methods and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
