We service a diverse fleet—from standard cargo trailers and custom haulers to mobile restaurants and command centers. You will enjoy engaging in individual and team challenges, and our yearly Tech Appreciation Event.

What You’ll Do

  • Routine & Diagnostics: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and conduct safety inspections.
  • Mechanical Repairs: Repair and replace bearings, brakes, axles, lights, and suspension systems.
  • Custom Installations: Fit standard/custom hitches, brake controllers, and wiring.
  • Snow Equipment: Install and repair snowplows, salt spreaders, and related wiring.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in fixing bearings, brakes, axles, and wiring.
  • Tech Skills: Active welding and torching capabilities.
  • Requirements: Strong problem-solving aptitude, ability to lift heavy loads, and a valid Driver’s License. (Note: Some of your own tools are required).

Schedule & Perks

  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday + alternating Saturdays (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM). No overnight or Sunday work.

Advantage Trailer is a diversified, steadily growing trailer dealership specializing in custom built open and enclosed trailers for personal to corporate professional use. Our business model includes:
• Mobile event marketing trailers
• Mobile command, field office, workshop and medical offices
• Mobile coffee, entertainment and catering trailers
• Outfitting truck boxes with work stations, lockers, custom racking systems
• Regional dealership for cargo, equipment, contractor’s trailers
• Retail parts store and a full-service shop for maintenance, repairs and fabrication
Advantage has served customers for over 37 years in DuPage County.
