Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the Graphic Artist/Animator will assist staff with:

  • Assist with creating 2D & 3D graphics and animation for new and existing broadcast productions
  • Assist with creating and designing additional graphics as needed for a multi-media production studio
  • Assist with necessary graphics during live-to-tape studio productions
  • Be familiar with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Motion and 3D-modeling programs

This position provides great experience for students to learn about graphic design for television and video production, develop work ethic in a creative field, as well as an opportunity to create a demo-reel and portfolio

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
