Job description

DASH Sports is hiring Youth Sports Camp Coaches for the Summer of 2026. We are looking for highly energetic, sports loving people to join our team. Must love working with kids and have experience in sports. We run sports camps June-August in over 40 different cities in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) Metro area and beyond in Minnesota (Alexandria, Waseca, etc). We are hiring coaches in all locations for this summer. If you have a passion for working with kids, love sports and being outside in the summertime, then this is the summer job for you! Details below.


Locations: Twin Cities Suburbs (From Shakopee to Elk River to Lino Lakes to Woodbury and everywhere in between) (We schedule our coaches at camps near where they live)


Job summary: Youth Sports Coach: On site at local schools, actively coaching and teaching children (Ages 3-12yrs) sports skills. Responsible for implementing DASH Sports practice plans and values and executing top notch sports camps. Typical camps will consist of 10 to 12 players and one coach, so coaches must be confident and able to handle a group of 10 to 12 players by themselves.


Shifts/Hours: Monday-Thursday only 8:30am-4pm or 8:30am-6pm (24 to 36 hours per week) Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays --> OFF (Enjoy 3 day weekends all summer!)


Dates: June 2nd-mid to late August (Staff Training is June 2nd-4th in Edina and camps begin June 8th) MUST be available to attend staff training June 2nd-4th.


Requirements: Must live in the Twin Cities or surrounding suburbs where our camps are hosted. Must be 17 years old and be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. This is a highly active job, out on the field or in the gym and requires a lot of physical activity daily. Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle. All applicants must pass a background check, we work with children at schools. At least 1 year of sports playing experience is required, at least 1 year of sports coaching experience is recommended. Must be able to hold onto and transport equipment (sports balls) to and from camp sites.

Compensation: Summer Camp Coaches make between $16 and $20 per hour based on experience.
