It is situated on the Fox Rier just 30 miles southwest of Green Bay and 100 miles north of Milwaukee.Seeking a BE or BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our expanding Perioperative Services Team as our first Medical Director and full-time physician at our regional Orthopedic & Spine center in Appleton, WI. - Full-time 1.0 FTE (0.9FTE Clinical & 0.1FTE Medical Director Duties)- Monday-Friday: 8a-4:30p- No call, weekend or holidays- Unique position to care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting while also cross training into an outpatient clinic for preoperative risk stratifications and evaluations. - Role will directly influence quality outcomes of surgical patients including postoperative outcomes, same day surgery cancellations, care coordination, readmission prevention and system mortality index.- Opportunities for quality improvement work.- Exciting opportunity to partner with nearly all specialty practices starting with surgeons, primary care, therapy, cardiology, pulmonary etc all the way through the surgical experience and post-operative phase.Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Center OverviewThe Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Center brings together multiple service lines and partners at one location, creating a new and unique model of care in the community.
