This highly visible position serves as the face of our operations team when engaging with business teams, senior leaders, external suppliers, and functional groups. Lead opportunity identification and strategic plan development. Define key improvement initiatives, establish a multi-year capital plan, and outline operating targets in SQDCP. Leverage lean principles to deliver results and margin improvement.Employee Engagement: Be highly visible to associates, create a safe environment for participation, and promote hands-on management and high-involvement problem-solving.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate within a highly matrixed organization, building strong relationships with corporate and functional leaders. Influence business teams and functional groups to achieve plant objectives.Supplier Connectivity: Maintain strong relationships with internal sourcing and purchasing teams and key external suppliers to proactively address and improve operational issues.Performance Standards: Align with functional leaders to set vision for work standards and metrics (safety, quality, cost, delivery, people). Establish cadence to monitor results and drive continuous improvement year over year.Financial Stewardship: Lead fiscal budget development and execution.
