A rapid research & development group within Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a collaborative, self-driven software engineer with exceptional software development and optimization experience. The ideal candidate shouldpossessstrongback-endskills. They should also have experience writing software for hardware devices. Job specific tasks

  • Design, develop, andmaintainsoftware for biomedical, diagnostic, and scientific instrumentation systems.

Strong candidates willpossessmany of the following qualifications:

  • Expert levelproficiencywith Python and corresponding stack of relevantlibraries(FastAPI,Pydantic,SQLModel,PyTorchetc)

  • Extensive experience using at least one of the following databases: MySQL,ClickHouse, MongoDB, including building migrations, debugging ORM/ODMs shortcomings

  • Experience delivering production software across Linux-based embedded devices, Windows, and macOS environments.

  • Demonstrated experience developing distributed ML training and inference systems using Ray or comparable distributed computing frameworks.

  • Building and scaling cloud applications using AWSand Kubernetesincluding observability and monitoring

  • Experience with GitHubCI/CD systems, containerization,IaC, AWS CDK, Terraform

  • You must be able to do the performance optimization, package management and distribution, load testing and ensure system security across entire app stack

  • Good understanding of system design, hardware and software architecture,hardwareand software integration

Nice to have:

  • Experienceor exposurewith building medical grade software or another regulatory environment

  • Familiarity withGo, Rust,C,C++andembedded developmentusing Linux is a significant bonus

  • Candidates should have recent professional experience developing production Python systems, ideally over the last 3 years.
