Position: Emergency Vehicle Installer (Full Time)
Location: State-of-the-art manufacturing facility
Schedule: Full-time, with occasional overtime/weekend hours for time-sensitive projects
Pay Rate: $30 - 40/hr depending on experience.
Sign-On Bonus: $1000 after completion of 90 days of active employment.

What You'll Do
โ€ข Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment-light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K-9 cages, and more!
โ€ข Work on a vehicles configuring brand-new units, upgrading existing fleets, and servicing prior installations.
โ€ข Disassemble and reassemble OEM vehicle interior trim and components.
โ€ข Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting, performing all electrical and physical modifications necessary for emergency installations.
โ€ข Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
โ€ข Keep your workspace-and your tools-safe, clean, and organized.
โ€ข Learn cutting-edge techniques and new product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
โ€ข Pitch in with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other essential shop functions as needed.
โ€ข Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
What We're Looking For
โ€ข Two (2) or more years of emergency vehicle upfitting experience. Experience installing Whelen equipment preferred!
โ€ข Skills: Ability to work safely with tools. Strong understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required. Self-motivated and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Must be willing to work on-site at customer location.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in small teams.

โ€ข Work both inside and outside vehicles in a busy shop environment.
โ€ข Expect regular lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
โ€ข Occasional local travel for equipment pickups, deliveries, and on-site installations.
