Sign Production Associate – Vinyl Graphics & Installation

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay: $26.00/ $30.00 hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Position Overview

Are you skilled with your hands and passionate about bringing custom designs to life? The Sign Center is hiring a detail-oriented Sign Production Associate to join our fast-paced creative shop.

In this hands-on role, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of custom signage—from operating large-format printers and plotting vinyl to fabricating materials and installing vehicle wraps, window graphics, and exterior signage.If you take pride in precision, quality craftsmanship, and seeing your hard work on display in the community, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • ✂️ Vinyl Production: Plot, weed, tape, and apply vinyl graphics, decals, and vehicle wraps onto various substrates.
  • Print & Equipment Operation: Run large-format inkjet printers, laminators, plotters, and CNC/engraving tools.
  • ��️ Sign Fabrication: Cut, assemble, and fabricate custom signs, wall graphics, ADA signage, and dimensional lettering.
  • �� On-Site Installation: Mount exterior/interior signage, window graphics, and vehicle lettering using standard hand tools and ladders.
  • Quality Control & Shop Care: Inspect finished work for precision, prep materials for delivery, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in a sign shop, vinyl application, or vehicle wrap installation preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with sign-making tools, laminators, plotters, and substrate cutting.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and comfortably work on ladders or with hand tools.
  • Core Traits: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a positive team-player attitude.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus!)

  • Experience with design software like FlexiSign, Adobe Illustrator, or CorelDRAW.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, proofs, or blueprints.
  • Experience operating engraving or routing machinery.
