As a Live In Security Guard, your work schedule often involves being on-call around the clock, with specific active duty shifts assigned for patrolling, monitoring surveillance, or handling access points. While you may have dedicated break periods and downtime, you are primarily responsible for responding to incidents or emergencies whenever needed. The role usually provides on-site accommodation as part of your compensation, which requires you to live at or near the premises you are protecting. A Live In Security Guard is responsible for maintaining security on a property while residing on-site. The successful candidate will perform duties customary of a school security guard which include participating in the development and implementation of action plans to provide a safe environment and immediate response to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents, and others. They will be responsible for supervising and patrolling school activities, ensuring that the doors are locked and unlocked per the wishes of the principal, and regulating student behavior on campus in classrooms, cafeteria, gym, restroom, locker rooms, parking lots and other areas. A more comprehensive job description is attached.A High School diploma or GED, demonstrated knowledge of security procedures, job-related experience, and a valid driver's license are required.Regular Attendance is an essential function of this position!
