Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number PDD1414P03and is part of the WY 153d Logistics Readiness Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard.
This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

This position is in the Plans and Integration Section of the Deployment and Distribution Flight, 153d Logistics Readiness Squadron, 153d Mission Support Group, 153d Airlift Wing. Serves as the Logistics Officer with responsibility for overall program management, direction, and control of wing logistics planning that includes multiple units.
The primary purpose is to manage, direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Wing Logistics planning. Serves as the Logistics Officer/Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist. This position is responsible for fully prepared, assigned unit personnel and equipment for Aerospace Expeditionary Force/Wing (AEF/AEW) Operations around the world.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Open to current active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard members.
Must become a military member of the Wyoming Air Nat'l Guard before appt.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of Secret, or appropriate security clearance of the position.
2. May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportation as appropriate to perform temporary duty assignments.
3. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
4. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive, personal, and/or classified or information covered under Privacy Act laws in accordance with regulations, to reduce potential compromise.
5. This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). The employee is subject to random drug testing. Preemployment drug testing and participation in random drug testing is a condition of employment.

Qualifications
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows:
Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 LRS.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 6: Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Work involves performing or supervising staff work in planning and coordinating logistical support activities to provide the money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support a specified mission at the time and place they are needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Equivalent is defined as experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC R21R3, Logistics Readiness (Qualified)
Prefix R identifies positions on manpower documents and officers serving in or qualified to serve in positions requiring functional area expertise, and experience and training in contingency or war planning functions.
Officers must satisfy one of the following criteria for award of this prefix:
1. Successful completion of one or more of the following courses and have 6 months of experience in a prefix R position:
1.1. MCADRE002 - Contingency/Wartime Planning Course, PDS Code 82U;
1.2. MCADRE003 - Joint Air Operations Planning Course, PDS Code W1B;
1.3. E6AZU49131 009 - Worldwide Military Command and Control System Intercomputer Network (H6000-CDT), PDS Code 11J;
1.4. 4925 - Joint Operation Planning and Execution System User Course (Basic) - PDS Code W5J;
1.5. J5OZO9000 003 - Joint Medical Planners Course (JMPC) - PDS Code XH6;
1.6. AMC TPC Tanker Planning Course - PDS Code TPI;
1.7. Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments End User Course (Basic).
OR
2. 12 months of experience in a prefix R position.
