The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of individuals within the facility.

Job Description: Security Guard for Homeowners Association (HOA)

Position: Security Guard

Location: Homeowners Association (HOA) Community

Job Summary: The Security Guard for the HOA is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors within the community. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring access points, enforcing HOA rules and regulations, and responding to security incidents or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the community to deter criminal activity, ensure the safety of residents, and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control entry to the community through gates, entrances, and other access points. Ensure only authorized residents, visitors, and service personnel enter the property.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, including disturbances, suspicious activities, or emergencies. Provide support by contacting the appropriate authorities or emergency services as needed.
  • Reporting: Complete and submit detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other relevant documentation using Officer Reports or other designated systems.
  • Community Relations: Engage with residents in a professional and respectful manner. Provide assistance when needed and address concerns related to safety and security.
  • Enforcement of HOA Rules: Enforce the HOA's rules and regulations regarding parking, noise, trespassing, and other community guidelines. Issue warnings or report violations to the HOA management as needed.
  • Emergency Protocols: Maintain awareness of emergency evacuation routes, fire safety protocols, and first aid procedures. Assist in emergency evacuations or responses when necessary.
  • Vehicle & Equipment Checks: Ensure that all security equipment, including patrol vehicles, radios, and surveillance systems, are functioning properly. Report any maintenance issues promptly.

  • Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
