Job Description
The Security and Transportation Technician ensures the safety and security of the hospital buildings and grounds, its patients, employees and guests . The Security and Transportation Technician also provides safe, efficient transportation services to patients of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field highly preferred; or high school diploma.
Experience: One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and or security preferred .
Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver License
Knowledge : Basic reading and writing ability; knowledge of typical safety and security procedures; sound judgment and decision-making skills; skills in crisis management or in implementing emergency response procedures; trustworthiness; basic customer service skills, and telephone etiquette . Familiarity with basic automotive maintenance; basic auto repair skills, such as ability to change flat tire , ability to check fluid levels and add fluids, ability to check tire inflation, etc.; ability to operate wheelchair lift .
