Job description

The Daycare Attendant is responsible for the supervision, control and management of the dogs and ensuring the safety of the playgroup while making sure each pup is having a great experience. Employees are also responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the play areas as well as other areas of the facility as assigned. Because these are live animals that can never be left alone you are responsible for being on time and present to every shift.

  • Being able to prevent/break up fights (watching body language is key!)
  • Keeping documentation of timeouts and fights and/or injuries during your shift
  • Keeping the daycare area clean and safe for animals
  • Making sure to notify the manager or H.T. owner if equipment is broken
  • No outside food in daycare area!!
  • No cellphones are permitted while on the clock!!
  • Keeping the pool area maintained (cleaning filter/ using net to get balls and other debris out)
  • Interacting with the dogs to make sure they have a good and safe experience.
  • Making sure dogs are healthy
