We are seeking a highly organized, caring and professional Nanny to support our family with day-to-day childcare and overall household management. This full-time, live-out position requires a proactive individual who can manage scheduling, communications, and routines while also providing hands-on support with children. Seeking someone with flexibility that is open to travelling with the family, when needed. 
This is a full-time, live-out position (days/ hours may vary). The schedule may be adjusted based on family needs, school breaks, summer schedules, or unexpected events. The Nanny must be available for overnight care when requested, with advance notice provided. Any schedule changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
Compensation & Benefits: 
  • Salary: 70,000-80,000 annually based on experience and qualifications 
  • Compensation package includes: 
  • Paid time off (PTO), paid out upon separation if unused 
  • Employee must review and sign PTO policy 
  • Full dental and vision (eye) coverage provided by employer 
  • Medical insurance: employer covers 25%, employee covers 75% 
  • On-call duties are included in the base salary unless otherwise agreed upon for extended travel or overnights. 
* Holidays will be paid and nonworking unless the family is traveling and specifies the need for the Nanny to be present on the trip. 
Must be able to pass an FBI, ChildLine and PA Criminal Background Screening 
Must be or willing to become Adult and Child First Aid and CPR Certified. 
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record. 
The Nanny is expected to maintain flexibility for occasional needs outside of regular working hours. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage family schedules, including school calendars, appointments, extracurricular activities, and family events. 
  • Create and maintain daily and weekly checklists for household and childcare tasks. 
  • Perform regular household cleaning, including kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and shared living areas. 
  • Coordinate errands, grocery shopping, and general household organization. 
  • Assist with meal preparation, tidying, and laundry. 
  • Provide childcare support in the afternoons and evenings, including daycare pick-up, meals, playtime, and bedtime prep. 
  • Support school-related tasks such as helping with homework, managing school communications, and preparing materials for the next day. 
  • Assist with travel planning and packing for family trips. 
  • Manage emails and help coordinate meetings and communication with parents. 
  • Maintain open communication with parents, including end-of-shift task reporting. 
Educational Support & Enrichment: 
  • Assist with daily homework and school assignments.
  • Reinforce age-appropriate learning (reading, writing, math, vocabulary) 
  • Prepare school supplies and materials for the next day.
  • Communicate with parents about academic updates and progress 
  • Encourage good study habits and educational engagement 
  • Offer enrichment activities like reading, puzzles, and creative time  
  • Providing support during family travel, including evenings or weekends as needed 
  • Assisting during unforeseen circumstances or family emergencies 
  • Offering evening or weekend childcare coverage for parent date nights or special events
