Job Summary:
A Comfort Keepers RN is committed to making a difference in the lives of their clients. The RN performs initial and on-going in-home assessments for clients and determines the appropriateness of client services. In conjunction with the local support team, the RN is responsible for managing the client's continuity of care that includes initial in-home assessments, management of client documentation, regular supervisory visits, and ongoing re-assessment of client care needs. The RN will also assist with the coordination of care between the client, agency, caregivers, and medical professionals. The RN will participate in the creation and implementation of educational programs and assess the skills of our caregivers for placement with clients. A Comfort Keepers RN should have a strong focus on regulatory compliance, training of caregiving staff, and the commitment to provide platinum quality care to our clients.
Job Requirements:

  • • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Current Florida RN License
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Homecare experience preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with people from diverse and varied backgrounds and education levels.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and outstanding people management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and written / verbal communication.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with the ability to pass a background check (including motor vehicle records check).
  • On Call hours may be required

Position Physical Demands:
Walking, sitting, and standing; lifting not expected to exceed 25 pounds in weight. Extended time at a computer work screen and on the telephone. Office and fieldwork both required.
