LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Full time, part time or on call options available.
When hired, LPNs may choose one of the following weekend-focused schedules:

  • Every Other Weekend (EOW): $31/hour

  • 3 Out of 4 Weekends: $33/hour

  • Every Weekend (EW): $36/hour

  • 12 hour shift schedule with every 3rd weekend rotation

✨ Bonus flexibility:
Weekend-only team members may pick up additional shifts during the week if desired. Any additional shifts worked outside the weekend commitment will be paid at the LPN’s regular hourly rate (not the weekend premium rate).

Sign on bonus $7,500 for full-time

Position Summary:

The LPN is responsible for providing residents with the highest quality of direct routine care, under the supervision of the RN and in accordance with the Minnesota BON standards, the Resident’s Bill of Rights and the facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The LPN participates in the development and modification of the resident Plan of Care, implementing interventions that are delegated, ordered or prescribed by the RN or physician. The LPN collects resident health data and compares to normal findings and the established current health status, reporting changes and/or responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to the RN. The LPN assigns and monitors nursing tasks or activities of unlicensed nursing staff through, assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities, clarifying expectations addressing behaviors or escalating. All nursing activities are performed to support residents in achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing Current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse

  • Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care 

  • Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities
