The Warranty and Dealer Records Specialist for Engines provides leadership in warranty administration which includes processing claims, system maintenance, policy review, recovery and procedure updates.
This is a remote role. However, preference will be given to qualified candidates who live in Sheboygan or Milwaukee.
Important Notice: This position is primarily remote. However, if you reside within a 50-mile radius of a Rehlko site, you may be required to work onsite at least 2-3 business days per week.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Review, evaluate, and adjudicate engine warranty claims to ensure compliance with Rehlko warranty policies and procedures.
  • Administer and return warranty claims that do not meet policy requirements, providing clear communication and justification.
  • Evaluate and process sales policy adjustment claims in alignment with business guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and distributor warranty issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Serve as a key contact for distributors, dealers, OEMs, and internal teams regarding warranty claims, policies, dealer records as it pertains to aftermarket parts and service
  • Follow up on outstanding information to ensure timely progression of claims through the adjustment process.
  • Support processes related to registrations, and extended warranty applications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain warranty system alerts, documentation, and user guidance tools within online systems.
  • Recommend improvements to warranty processes and procedures to enhance claim accuracy and reduce overall warranty costs.
  • Maintain system data including flat rates, policies, and global parameters to ensure consistent and efficient claim processing.
  • Assist with updates to Warranty Policy and Procedures documentation

Dealer & Network Management
  • Maintain and manage dealer and service entity records within the warranty system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead and support dealer/service entity audit processes, validating account data, activity, and adherence to program requirements.
  • Coordinate and execute dealer re-sign / reauthorization processes, including documentation collection, approvals, and system updates.
  • Partner with field service and cross-functional teams to ensure dealer network governance and integrity.

OEM & External Liaison Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary OEM liaison for warranty adjustments, collaborating with OEM partners to review claims, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment with warranty policies.
  • Provide technical and procedural guidance to OEM partners regarding claim submission, documentation standards, and failure analysis expectations.
  • Support alignment between internal teams and OEMs to drive consistency, improve claim quality, and reduce processing cycle times.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance for users of the warranty system, including troubleshooting issues and answering policy or claim-related questions.
  • Administer system access, user roles, and security within the warranty platform.
  • Execute additional projects and assignments as directed by the Manager of Technical Services.

Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset, particularly in technical support environments.
  • Proficiency with data in computer systems, including data entry, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in Excel.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a background in business, technical support, or experience in customer service, product support, warranty administration, or quality assurance.
  • Previous warranty or customer service experience within engine, power equipment, automotive, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of engine systems.

The Salary range for this position is $63,100.00-$79,500.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
