Job description

Job Duties:

  • Accurately schedule onsite radiologist shifts using QGenda.
  • Coordinate neighboring physician coverage and remote contrast assignments.
  • Distribute remote diagnostic mammography sites and assign PM coverage as needed.
  • Adjust schedules promptly to reflect last-minute changes.
  • Assign cases to the appropriate radiologist based on specialty.
  • Field calls and messages from radiologists to assist with daily workflow.
  • Respond to internal staff inquiries to facilitate report completion and case assignment.
  • Assist with imaging assignment duties during call-outs or short staffing.
  • Provide back-up training for new hire radiologists when primary trainer is unavailable.
  • Solve first-level IT issues and escalate as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required. Degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Technology, Health Information Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in scheduling and/or customer service

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Technical troubleshooting and first-level IT support.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • A high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps.
  • Internet service must be reliable and consistent, capable of supporting video conferencing, remote desktop access, and secure data transmission.
  • A backup internet solution is required in case of service interruptions.
