Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

A Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) needed in Aventura, FL.

Salary and Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $27.09 - $37.92, depending on experience
  • Schedule Full-time Days, Evenings, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
  • 8 hour shifts only:
    • 6am - 2:30pm
    • 7am - 3pm
    • 8am - 4pm
    • 9am - 5pm
    • 3pm - 11pm

Responsibilities

  • As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures and be responsible for patient safety protocols.
  • Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting.
  • Confirming order with patient and making any corrections to exam.
  • Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
  • Confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing and releasing images. Assuring all “Stat” procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)- REQUIRED
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • New Grads that have passed state boards will be considered
