Location: Amsterdam, NY Compensation: $32 per hour Commitment Level: Full-time, long-term Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Position Overview A family is seeking an experienced, organized, full-time live-out House Manager / Nanny to care for their 5-year-old son and maintain their home. The role is structured around the school day: mornings and early afternoons are dedicated to household management, organization, and meal preparation, transitioning to childcare in the afternoon. The child is dropped off at kindergarten by a parent each morning.

The nanny will depart for afternoon school pickup - the school is approximately 20 minutes from the home - return home with their son, provide an after-school snack, and engage with him through the late afternoon while finishing dinner. Dinner is ready for the family at 6:00 PM, and the workday ends promptly at 6:00 PM. The home is approximately 3,000 square feet and sits on six acres.

Household tasks follow a planned daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule - for example, window cleaning or pantry organization - and are completed at a comfortable pace throughout the day. Organizing projects are a meaningful part of this role. A weekly housekeeper handles deep cleaning; there is no overlap in responsibilities.

Dogs are part of the household, and additional adults reside on the property. On-site parking is available. This is a long-term position.
