Responsibilities

Assists with patients/participants care activities.

Responsibilities:

Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).|

Accommodates patients/participants with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.|

Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.|

Assists with keeping patients/participants rooms clean and orderly.|

Monitors patients/participants environment for safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate, as needed.

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience and active certification as a nurse aide (CNA) in the state of Alabama.
