Pay Range: $17-$19/hour

BAYADA offers Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs):

  • Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 32 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
  • Home Care Field Employees working less than 32 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for HHA/CNA – Home Health Aide/CNA:

  • Minimum one year work experience
  • Current Home Health Aide Certificate (at least 40 hours) OR CNA License OR one-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver
  • Current CPR Certification - Must have Hands on Component
  • Level II Background Check Current (Information regarding the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse can be found at https://info.flclearinghouse.com/)

Job Responsibilities for Home Health Aides (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  • Activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping
  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Toileting
  • Nail care
  • Range of motion / exercises
  • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
  • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
  • Assisting with ambulation
  • Medication reminders
  • Transportation
