The Oasis at Death Valley is situated in a lush, spring-fed desert oasis, surrounded by the vast and arid desert of Death Valley National Park. The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs.
We're hiring a Laundry Driver to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park!
Job Summary:
This position drives the laundry truck to pick-up and deliver laundry. Assists in loading and unloading of laundry and stocks the linen closets.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-time Year-round
Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks)
Pay: $19.00/hr.
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
  • Delivers & picks-up linen from the Ranch, Inn, and other locations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Loads and unloads, or assists in loading and unloading of the truck.
  • Stocks Linen Closet.
  • Strips rooms of soiled linen.
  • Assists with monthly linen inventory.
  • Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, in order to ensure that vehicle is in proper working condition.
  • Obeys traffic laws, and follows established route and transportation procedures.
  • Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from crew as needed.
  • Performs other laundry duties (loading and unloading washers and dryers and folding laundry) when deliveries are completed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments with extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, bend, wipe, push, and pull.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
