YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Maintenance Team Member opportunity in our Rolla office. The Maintenance Team Member, Assist in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, install, and inspect, for the following but not limited to automated feed systems, fresh water systems, recycle systems, cool cells, ventilation, controllers, and penning for animal production facilities sites to ensure operations run efficiently and effectively.
  • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Follow work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment require replacement, repair or maintenance.
  • Welding of buildings equipment including load out chutes, and fabrications of some penning or gating.
  • Must be on call available for emergency situations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Two-year technical degree or greater, High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months experience or training; or combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and work orders. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Must possess a current valid driver’s license, acceptable MVR, and ability to pass DOT physical and obtain medical card
