Vancouver Clinic is hiring a full-timePatient Service Specialistfor our busyCall Center. This isa great opportunityfor someone who enjoys helping others, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. In this role,you'llschedule and reschedule appointments,assistwithinitialphone triage, verify and update patient information, gather details needed for appointments,andprovidehelpful directions. A strong candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable handling a high volume ofcalls, and able to communicate with patients in a warm, professional, and helpful way.

Location:The VIC (18110 SE 34thStreet - Vancouver, WA 98683)

Schedule:Monday through Friday, 9:00a-5:30p

Hiring rangeisgenerally between$19.38/hour to $22.20/hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. *This position is also eligible for the opportunity toparticipatein the Metric-Based Incentive CompensationPlan.*

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Min of two yearsofexperience in eithermedicaloffice setting or in the health insurance industrystronglypreferred.

  • Experience with multi-line phone system preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle pressure situations whilemaintainingtact and diplomacy.

  • Ability to work independently yetoperatesas an integral part of a team.

  • Working knowledge of computers and basic software programs.

Additionaldetails:PatientServiceSpecialisthas the potential for off-site workafter successful completion of training and meeting the requirements for working off-site. This requires an employee to live in the localVancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network withminimumupload (5mbps) and download speeds (25mbps).

Pay Range:

$18.70 - $26.17
