We currently manage just under 1 million sq ft of commercial assets including Office, Retail, Medical, and Industrial buildings.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and customer-focused Commercial Property Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the daily operations, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction across an existing portfolio of commercial properties with the assistance of a Commercial Management Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, able to balance owner objectives with tenant needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties, including office, retail, and industrial spaces.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and property owners.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service agreements.
  • Conduct & review regular property inspections and ensure facilities are maintained to company standards.
  • Prepare, manage, and oversee annual operating budgets and financial reports for each property.
  • Monitor rent collections, manage delinquencies, and enforce lease terms in collaboration with the accounting team.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and space build-outs or improvements.
  • Address tenant concerns and service requests promptly and professionally in tandem with your Commercial Management Assistant.
  • Collaborate with leasing agents and ownership on marketing strategies and vacancy reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial property management or a closely related field.
  • Active WA State Brokers License in good standing.
  • Strong understanding of commercial leases, property maintenance, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in property management software (AppFolio experience a plus).
  • Ability to work both independently and to lead a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
