Position Overview

A warm, engaged family in Southampton, NY is seeking a dedicated live-in nanny for their three children (ages 8, 6, and 4; pre-K, first, and third grade) for a true long-term role. The family travels frequently, and the nanny will travel with them during school vacations. One child (age 6) has sensory processing needs and possible ADHD; hands-on experience supporting a child with these needs is essential, along with helping the siblings navigate that dynamic. The home is set up to support him, including a dedicated OT/sensory space, and thrives on structure and active engagement. The nanny is supported by an au pair and separate housekeeping staff, so no deep cleaning is involved. The right candidate — warm, engaging, professional, and genuinely invested in the children — is the top priority.

Benefits

  • Private bedroom and private bathroom
  • Company car provided for working hours; parking available for a personal vehicle
  • Open to Health Care stipend
  • All travel expenses paid, plus full compensation while traveling with the family
  • 2 weeks paid vacation (one week of the family's choosing, one of the nanny's)
  • 3–5 paid personal/sick days
  • All major holidays paid and off

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, structured care for three children (ages 8, 6, and 4)
  • Support the 6-year-old's sensory and attention-related needs through structure and engagement, and help the siblings navigate that dynamic
  • Manage school-day logistics, including morning and evening routines and drop-offs/pick-ups
  • Meal prep and grocery shopping
  • Light housekeeping and family admin (no deep cleaning)
  • Manage the children's clothing — tracking sizes, handling outgrown items, and processing returns
  • Handle household tasks during midday downtime between the AM and PM shifts
  • Travel with the family during school vacations
  • Occasional Sunday evening support as needed

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience supporting a child with sensory processing needs and/or ADHD
  • Valid driver's license and confident driving
  • Valid passport for family travel
  • Committed to a long-term, live-in role
  • Comfortable in a home with a pool
  • CPR / First Aid Certified
  • Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
