Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Phoenix Psychotherapy Clinic. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health services to clients through telehealth platforms. Your expertise will directly contribute to the mental well-being of diverse populations, aiding individuals in navigating their personal journeys toward healing and self-discovery.

About the Organization

At Phoenix Psychotherapy Clinic, located in the picturesque Hillsboro, Oregon, we are driven by a mission to unify mental and physical healthcare, enabling individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. As one of the fastest-growing behavioral health practices in the country, our dedicated clinical team works tirelessly to ensure access to trusted and affordable mental health services for everyone. We foster an environment that promotes professional growth and encourages collaboration among team members to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you flexibility in your schedule while working from the comfort of your home. Our telehealth setting fosters a dynamic work-life balance, where you can engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients without the constraints of geographical limitations. We also offer hybrid roles that allow for in-person interactions if preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to clients' needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, families, and couples, ensuring the highest quality of care.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address a wide range of mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training, to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on mental health trends.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and more. Your ability to establish a trusting rapport will be paramount in fostering a therapeutic alliance, where clients feel safe and supported in discussing their challenges. Your work will significantly impact their emotional and psychological well-being, helping them to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients from varied backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma will give you an advantage.
  • A proven track record in utilizing diverse therapy modalities to cater to the unique needs of clients.
Compensation and Benefits

This LPC position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside potential bonuses. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. We believe in rewarding our staff for their hard work and commitment to client care.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Phoenix Psychotherapy Clinic, we are invested in your professional development. You will have access to ongoing training, mentorship programs, and opportunities to take on leadership roles within the organization. We value your contributions and offer avenues for career advancement to support your aspirations in the field of mental health.
