Live in private school chefs are culinary professionals who reside on the premises of a private school and are responsible for preparing meals for students, faculty, and sometimes staff. They often plan menus, manage kitchen staff, accommodate dietary restrictions, and ensure food safety standards are met. This role typically includes overseeing the entire food service operation, from sourcing ingredients to serving meals, while also participating in school events and building positive relationships within the school community. Living on-site allows them to be flexible in meeting the needs of the school and to respond to special events or emergencies as needed.
