Job Description

  • Communicate directly with clients, lenders, real estate agents, title professionals, and opposing counsel to keep transactions moving efficiently.
  • Handle title curative matters, including corrective deeds, lien releases, and related documentation.

Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina Bar license in good standing.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 1+ years of directly relevant legal experience preferred, with real estate, title, closing, or transactional experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of North Carolina real estate law, title standards, recording procedures, or closing practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and client-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines independently.
  • Willingness to be physically present in the Asheville/Western North Carolina area when needed.
