Working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Punta Gorda offers a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. The facility is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools to assist patients in their recovery journey. Our team works cohesively to provide multidisciplinary care, ensuring all team members contribute their expertise in achieving optimal patient outcomes. This role requires commitment, as weekly scheduled hours are set at 40, with variable weekends as necessary.

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on functional limitations and disabilities.
• Provide expert consultations to healthcare providers regarding patients' ongoing care needs.
• Interact compassionately and professionally with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, adhering to high standards of customer service.
• Implement treatment plans, re-evaluate patient progress, and educate patients and their families about treatment processes and expectations.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialty consultants, to optimize care coordination and patient outcomes.
• Engage in leadership opportunities that include community outreach, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and program development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring high standards of patient care across the department.

Our patient population comprises individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and various disabling conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in empowering patients to regain mobility and independence, adapting treatment plans to meet their unique needs and goals. • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer and word processing capabilities.

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapies or a history of leadership roles within physical therapy settings will be considered favorably. Experience in community engagement or outreach programs is also a plus.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
