Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI and surrounding communities
Schedule:
  • ย Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM โ€“ 3:00 PM
  • ย Saturday: 8:00 AM โ€“ 1:30 PM

Are you a bilingual caregiver fluent in both English and Spanish who is passionate about helping seniors remain safe and independent at home? Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care for clients throughout the Milwaukee area.
This position is ideal for caregivers who have experience with personal care, companionship, and mobility assistance, and who enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • ย Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygieneย 
  • ย Provide companionship and meaningful conversationย 
  • ย Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planningย 
  • ย Perform light housekeeping and laundryย 
  • ย Provide medication remindersย 
  • ย Safely assist clients with transfers using Hoyer lifts and other mobility equipment when requiredย

  • ย Follow each client's individualized care plan and accurately communicate updates to the care teamย 

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish
  • ย Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, PCA, or personal care experience is preferred but not requiredย 
  • ย Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle requiredย 
  • ย Comfortable providing care for clients with a variety of care needsย 
  • ย Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogsย 
  • ย Comfortable caring for clients who smokeย 
  • ย Experience with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, sit-to-stand lifts, or other transfer equipment is a plusย 
  • ย Dependable, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality careย 
  • ย Strong communication and interpersonal skillsย
