Job description

Benefits for Certified Home Health Aide Caregivers:

  • Hourly pay rate: $20/hour with extra pay for weekend shifts
  • Live-In pay rate: $1,400/week (7-day week at $200/day)
  • $100 Referral Bonus: A home health aide employee who refers another Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) will receive a $100 referral bonus
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit
  • 3-hour minimum shifts
  • Flexible schedules
  • Long-term CHHA assignments, short-term, and/or fill-in shifts are regularly available
  • Hourly daytime assignments available on an ongoing basis
  • Assignments with 20+ hour blocks currently available
  • Rewarding and fulfilling one-on-one care with clients in their home
  • Earned NJ Sick Leave pay up to 40 hours/year
  • Holiday pay (if working on a holiday)
  • Mileage reimbursement when driving clients in your own vehicle

Visiting Angels has a variety of assignments available in Mercer and Burlington Counties for exceptional Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs)

  • We’re searching for the best hourly and live-in Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) caregivers to provide personal care for clients in clients' homes.
  • Our hourly home health aides appreciate the flexibility of working as little as they’d like or as much as possible depending on their availability and on our clients' needs. Because client and caregiver schedules vary, we cannot guarantee full-time assignments for hourly employees. We offer premium pay for weekend shifts.
  • Our live-in caregivers should be hard-working, respectful, patient, and good-natured. Live-in caregivers who drive are preferred.

What we require of our in-home CHHA employees:

  • Valid CHHA Certified Home Health Aide license in New Jersey
  • Must have CURRENT: TB Screening—Negative results with 1-step PPD or Chest X-ray or Bloodwork
  • Physical Exam Report & MMR Immunization Records—Self-Assessment to be completed during hiring process
  • 2 work references are required
  • Reliable—consistently on-time and with no last-minute call outs
  • Pleasant, kind, helpful, positive personality
  • Caregivers must speak and understand English very well
  • Clean background check
  • Hourly Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) caregiver employees MUST have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Live-in employees who have a driver’s license are highly preferred
  • Live-in caregivers must have prior Live-in caregiver experience with a home care company
  • Live in CHHAs must be able to live and work in a client's home 7 days per week with no time off for the first 30 days

Mercer County Certified Home Health Aides will visit clients in the following towns: East Windsor, Hightstown, Hopewell, Pennington, Princeton, Princeton Junction, West Windsor, Ewing, Titusville, Trenton, Hamilton, Lawrenceville, Robbinsville, Upper Freehold Township, Allentown, Lambertville, Skillman, and surrounding areas

Our Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) caregivers service clients in their homes throughout Burlington County, including these towns: Beverly, Birmingham, Bordentown, Bridgeboro, Browns Mills, Burlington, Chatsworth, Chesterfield, Cinnaminson, Cookstown, Crosswicks, Columbus, Delanco, Delran, Edgewater Park, Evesboro, Evesham, Eastampton, Fieldsboro, Florence, Hainesport, Indian Mills, Jacobstown, Jobstown, Juliustown, Kresson, Lenola, Lumberton, Mansfield, Marlton, Marlton Lakes, North Marlton, Pine Grove, Masonville, Mount Laurel, Medford, Medford Lakes, Moorestown, Mount Holly, New Lisbon, New Gretna, North Delran, North Hanover, Palmyra, Pemberton, Rancocas Woods, Rancocas, Riverside, Riverton, Riverton, Shamong, Southampton, Tabernacle, Vincentown, Roebling, Westampton, Willingboro, Wrightstown, and surrounding areas.
