We are looking for a BAKERY ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team.
The purpose of this position is to maintain quality standards and product levels of all fresh-baked products in the bakery. Build customer confidence and loyalty by providing prompt and exceptional customer service while following consistent operating conditions in a friendly atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Fill and take special orders from customers
• Operate scales, and other bakery equipment.
• Receives, stores, stocks, maintains, and rotates bakery products and displays
• Confirms pricing accuracy, country of origin, and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Maintains high standards of sanitation and freshness
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with others and work well as a team
• Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, consistent and forward focused
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• A passion for serving others
• Cake decorations skills
• Prior experience is preferred
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Bakery Associates perform their duties primarily in the department. May be exposed to various temperature changes and environments. Work involves walking, bending, standing, lifting, and carrying products up to 50lbs, hand-eye coordination, and interaction with customers and associates.
