Job description

Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist position provides the assessment and appropriate treatment for the development and rehabilitation of the mentally, emotionally and physically impaired patient; based upon the medical diagnosis and the orders given by the physician that are consistent with the accepted occupational therapy standards of practice.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum six months related experience and/or training preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current occupational therapy license from the State of Nebraska required.

  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification or be eligible required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
