Job description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Not specified

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours (06:30 AM to 03:00 PM) with call rotation every fourth week.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine procedures, including but not limited to, preparations, exposures, and evaluations. This role involves ensuring patient comfort and safety while executing imaging procedures effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures on patients, following protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials.
  • Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations related to safety and health standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
  • Certification in ARRT (R), BLS, ARRT (N), and NMTCB required.
  • Must possess a valid Kentucky state license.
