Description - What You'll Do
  • Carry out both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including but not limited to chemistry and hematology-while adhering to standardized protocols.
  • Verify the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are calibrated and maintained properly.
  • Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed, ensuring comprehensive documentation along the way.
  • Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, while playing an instrumental role in training new staff members or students.
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment by strictly following regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Education
  • Holding a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, complemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparations.
Certifications
  • ACSP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
  • Must maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
