Our mission revolves around offering accessible, integrity-driven, and comprehensive mental health care. We are committed to fostering an environment where our clinicians not only find fulfillment in their work but also contribute to a supportive community that prioritizes continuous professional development and collaborative growth.

Work Environment

This position offers a unique remote work setting, which allows you to connect with clients in the comfort of their homes while utilizing telehealth technologies. Our practice prioritizes flexibility, operating from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week to accommodate our patients' schedules. We provide a supportive infrastructure, including a dedicated scheduling and client service team, to ensure our counselors can focus on delivering exceptional care without administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as an LCPC will require you to:

  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and establish appropriate treatment pathways.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, incorporating modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering a supportive healing environment.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
  • Respond effectively to crisis scenarios, offering immediate intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and available mental health resources.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities with a focus on trauma-informed care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a motivated patient population that may include individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our clients are seeking meaningful therapeutic engagement and a supportive atmosphere conducive to their healing process.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.
  • A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include:

  • At least two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.
  • Demonstrable experience providing trauma-focused therapy and interventions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate approach to client relations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, which includes guaranteed pay increases and bonus opportunities. Additional benefits include:

  • Paid orientation and ongoing professional development training.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) starting from the day you join us.
  • Flexible scheduling with no mandatory on-call duties.
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance options, along with disability and life insurance.
  • A 401k retirement plan with a 3% employer match.
  • CEU reimbursement for professional growth and continuing education activities.
  • Access to a motivated patient base and support for marketing efforts.
  • Legal and malpractice coverage for your peace of mind.
