Job description

Join our incredible team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Thoracic Surgery. Our Thoracic program features state-of-the-art technologies and facilities and has a collaborative team model approach as each member of the team works closely together providing advanced patient care.

Position Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician. 

Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days - 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
  • Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
  • BLS certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross 

Work Requirements: Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day. Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances
